My paintings are of mainly rural landscapes and seascapes.   Living in Connecticut all my life has given me wonderful subjects to paint in both plein air (on location) as well as in my studio.   In the last few years I have been spending winter time in warm, tropical Florida and my paintings also include a group of seascapes.

I love painting on location where I can embrace the sites and smells of the country or ocean as well as hear the birds, whistling wind and ocean waves.  Engulfing all the senses while painting creates art that shows feelings and emotions. Its my happy place to be!
